Our little bundle of joy arrived on March 16, 2008 at 3:33pm. He was 36w5d, and was ready to come and meet us. He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 18.5 inches long.
Due to some pre-term labor Gordon's mom had come to town just 2 days before Russell arrived. We all had a feeling it was just a matter of hours....or days at that point. We were blessed to have Bonnie (Granny) in town. She made sure we were all eating good foods, and her extra set of hands was wonderful to have around.
Gordon got to spend the second week of Russell's life at home with us, which was another blessing. It gave us some wonderful time to bond as a family.
As you can see in the pictures of Erick with his brother for the first time, he sure is a proud big brother.
